Vunyx® Carbon Window Film (OCC)

Vunyx® Carbon window films incorporate carbon particles mixed into the film. They reject more heat than metalized tints without interfering with cell signals and offer a distinct matte finish.

Unlike traditional metalized tints, Vunyx® Carbon Window Films do not rely on metallic components, which means they do not cause interference with electronic signals such as cell phones, GPS, or radio. Vunyx® carbon-infused film effectively blocks heat and UV rays, offering superior heat rejection and enhanced comfort inside the vehicle. It also provides excellent privacy and reduces glare.

Material Composition: Carbon window films are made by embedding carbon particles into the film layer. These particles provide enhanced heat rejection and a non-reflective, matte finish. Unlike metalized films, they do not interfere with GPS, mobile, or radio signals. 

Heat Rejection: Carbon films typically offer heat rejection levels of up to 85% for infrared light, effectively lowering the vehicle’s interior temperature and enhancing passenger comfort. 

UV Protection: These films block up to 99% of harmful UV rays, offering significant protection for vehicle interiors and passengers. They also reduce fading, cracking, and skin damage caused by prolonged sun exposure. 
Visible Light Transmission (VLT): Carbon window films are available in a range of VLTs, with darker shades providing higher privacy and reduced glare. VLT typically ranges from 5% to 70%. 

Thickness: These films usually have a thickness of 2 mil, providing durability and strength while remaining flexible for easy installation.
 
Durability: Carbon window films are known for their resistance to fading and discoloration. They maintain their appearance and performance over time, even with constant exposure to sunlight.
